This is a short double wide trail from the campground at Lake Alpine to Silvertip campground. It is part of the route from Lake Alpine to Bear Valley (which turns into singletrack at Silvertip. This is a chipsealed paved trail with a 3-5% steady climb. Nothing challenging, but a good and pretty alternative to climbing the narrow road out of Lake Alpine

Access Info

Entry is about 100 yards from Hwy 4 into the Lake Alpine Campground entrance toward Slick Rock Road. As you enter, it is the only “trail” on the right side, just as the pavement ends.
