A relatively quiet alternative to the popular M Trail. The trail starts at the eastern end Evans Avenue at a narrow opening between a gated driveway and and a large tree. It climbs steeply at the beginning and then the grade slackens through a series of long switchbacks up the open lower slopes of Mount Sentinel.
