The Expressway runs from the southern intersection of Huka Falls Road north beside Wairakei Drive. It terminates at Spaghetti Junction beside the park entrance tunnel under Wairakei Drive. This is the quickest and easiest bike access to Craters Mountain Bike Park from town.

Access by the lookout on the corner of Huka Falls Road and Wairakei Drive 500m north of Control Gates Bridge. Northern access beside the tunnel under Wairakei Drive in Craters car park.
