This is a level, scenic loop around Fish Slough in the Volcanic Tableland. It passes by a couple springs, nature reserves, bouldering spots, and passage through a couple cattle pastures. Most of the road is excellent, easy ride, but the northeast section through the pastures gets a little bumpy and soft if you get off the tire tracks. Perfect for a nice e-bike ride in spring and fall when the temperatures are not too hot.
The gates to the pastures are usually open and each has a cattle guard, but leave them as you find them if they are closed. The pastures are in active use (including a bull or two) but cattle are usually a long way from the road where the grass is better. They seem accustomed to vehicles, but will watch you the whole time. Just something to keep in mind. If you don't like the idea of cattle, then turn around at the gate. It's still a nice ride.
