A ridgeline trail that crests Forgetmenot summit, Forgetmenot Mountain, and Forgetmenot Ridge. Access begins from the highest elevation point of the "Old Forgetmenot" trail, and involves a brief scree hike-a-bike up to the ridgetop. Along the ridge, there are a few places with large rocks that can't be ridden. You will hit 3 separate summit points along this ridge with outstanding views. The descent to the final ridge involves hike-a-bike down a small rock feature that is easily doable. Once on the final ridge, continue northward to meet with the cairn at the top of the northern access trail. The descent down to the elbow river is steep, loose, fast, and tight, with a variety of varying terrain. Dress for the elements as the weather up top can change in a moment.

This summary is a complete understatement to the actual trail. The final descent back to the parking lot is arguably steep enough to be considered a double black.

Depending on skill level and the route taken, there is a lot of potential hiking along the ridge.

This was an amazing ride, but it should be known that there‚Äôs actually no visible trail with the execution of a the northern 2km hiking trail to access the north summit. This section should also be noted as a double black ridden in either direction. Route finding skills and GPS are a requirement to ride this, and the expectation to walk or pack your bike for significant sections. Incredible views and terrain though.
