The climb up fringe hill for access to Fringe Downhill, The fringe classic, Te Ara Koa and Black diamond ridge. Start From Codgers car park and make your way along the Dun Mountain trail. Once you reach Tantragee road, continue up to the gate on the Tantragee Saddle. Turn right past the gate and follow the gravel forestry road. you will have to climb another gate and then follow the road for about 5km, you will pass 1 small skid site and 2 larger ones, The final part of the climb has some punchy steep parts, You have reached the top when you reach a fork where the road turns left and there is a clearing on the right. Turn right for Fringe DH and the Fringe Classic, or left for Black diamond ridge and Te Ara Koa.
