From the top...The first two and a half miles are on primitive single-track with some loose shale sections, roots and rocks. The trail comes to a road, turn right and follow road for another three and a half miles till you come to a gate and Patrick Creek Road. Cross The road there at what's called Emmons Saddle and continue on an old road bed. The trail turns left off the road bed after a short distance and back to singletrack for the remainder of the new trail. From this point on the trail is machine made with some challenging, but very pedal-able ups. The turns are bermed and well designed to get you the rest of the way to Herron Park. This trail is one to come for and one you'll return to ride again and again.

To shuttle, ride to the top of Blacktail Mountain, trail leaves the road on the left side of the road across from the largest golf-ball on earth.
