The Green Loop - this takes you to the opposite side of the main inlet ravine & onto some picturesque sections along the lakeside, before turning back into some densely wooded flat section with good, fast flow. There's a mid-point shortcut, if necessary. suggestion: alternate turns on each loop, taking the second turn at each crossing, like a figure-eight.

Disclaimer

Private lands to the south & east of the trail, as you get past the ravine sections & more onto the flat. Respect the locals and be courteous. Trail is on lands leased to Angelina County by ACoE.

      Lower section of the green loop is cleared about halfway to the far western point. The upper section is partially clear from the intersection of the orange loop up to the final switchback headed west just a short distance

      12/6: upper green loop cleared & cleaned to midway map kiosk, except ~100yd shoreline section just NW of midway map kiosk
