Hewitt's Upper

One of if not my favourite trail in Quesnel. Has everything from rock slabs to step ups to massive drops to super steep and loose shoots. The trail is split into three sections by the road. The first section is basically double black level with required rocks slabs much like mad hatter and rockasourus but also has the coolest features on the trail. The second section is steep and loose following the power lines. The third section is the easiest and is just super fast flowy loam and roots much like seven dwarfs.

Old school meets new school tech! The upper section has literally just been reworked (as of August 12th 2022) to blend into the perfect definition of tech-flow. Sweet rock rolls, slabs, and a cool ledge with the option for a natural 10 foot rock drop, which is also totally rollable for any advanced rider that doesn't want to huck off it. We were fortunate to meet up with the trail building master re-working the upper section, Danny with GRCC. There is more work to be done with the remaining sections, but they are awesome as is. They get a little looser and more narrow, but a great variety on a trail allowing for all around good technical black riding fun!
