Higher learning is a black technical trail starting at the top of the Old School Climb that follows the top of the ridge around to the north before dropping into a crumbly descent to end up at the loose coal hairpin on Death Valley. It is a hand built trail that has some steep rock rolls and hairpins but rewards the rider with some excellent views and fun lines.
