The "Hippy-Mid" is the middle part of the full "3 Hippies" strava trail. The Hippy Mid section starts just below the quarry where the hippy upper exits onto the forestry road. With a selection of berms, drops and some rooty sections there's plenty of variety and a great flowing line. If you are out for the day a top tip is to take a wee detour at the end of this mid section and turn left and ride 150 metres up to the most awesome viewpoint at "Turic Rock". Then return back to the end of this trail to continue on down the Hippy - Lower trail.
Access Info
Park at Balquhidder Hall or Balquhidder Kirk and access Kirkton Glen using forestry roads. The start is of this trail section just below the quarry.
This trail is unsanctioned.
