Forest trail starting near Vereineralm/Krinner-Kofler Hut and leading down to the Aschaualm outside of Mittenwald. Some quite difficult spots in the very beginning, then the trail becomes more fun and flowy as it progresses.

Forest road from just north of Mittenwald towards Vereineralm/Krinner Kofler hut, then turn off to the right on another forest road about half a kilometer before reaching the hut, which leads to the start of the trail.

       FYI, there is a sign some hundred meters before the start of the trail with the following text: "Jägersteig nicht für Radfahrer! Bitte Fahrweg benutzen! --DAV S. Hochland". That means, the DAV section which is responsible for this trail requests that bikes take the forest road for the downhill. Albeit legally maybe not binding, for some this might be a reason not to ride this trail. Hence, this is information that should be here.
