mtb About 95% snow free. There are a few snow patches that require walking around, otherwise great riding. Several smaller trees removed. 2 more large trees that may require a chainsaw down toward the end of trail. Freeze/thaw Cycleview

mtb A small stream is overflowing onto the trail. It looks to me like the brush that has been previously cleared and thrown onto the stream has made the issue worse.
Trailwork: Spent a bit of time moving woody debris and trying to divert the water to remain in the creek. More work is required; rubber boots would be helpful.

mtb Trail is not ready for dirt tires. Freeze/thaw cycle with ice, snow, and mud. Ground is still frozen. Trail damage may likely occur if ridden.

mtb Mostly dry and great dirt conditions. Could definitely benefit from some work with a small chainsaw to take out blowdown/snags . Also much of the trail could use a good brushing.

mtb Riding well. Cleared blowdown and various safety hazards.
Note: I don’t understand the logic for people snapping off branches, especially directly within the riding corridor; leaving them jutting out can potentially injure other trail users, or jam into wheels/derailleurs. Please use a saw and cut the branch ~1m back from the trail, or just leave the branch intact for someone else to properly deal with.
Future trail work: Juicy would greatly benefit from brushing.

mtb CMBC Trail Maintenance Night #1 (2019 Edition):
We cleared a basic amount of intruding vegetation and overhead hazards (misc. standing dead trees and blowdown) on Juicy.

The trail requires considerably more vegetation clearing as it is becoming overgrown; until then, savour the Aspen/Sheperdia/Rosa/etc. gently slapping against your body and handlebars... ;-)
(Expect more of the same on the Yukon River Trail.)

mtb The fallen tree has been removed and the wood cribbing temporarily propped up with a tree stump. Thank you to the person that got out and fixed this up so quickly. The trail is clear and good to go. reporter Dryview
