Kona has a fence across it at the development. It is much better to use burn victim to enter lower Kona

not your old hard pack Kona. Roots and loose soil down further.

Kona is back with a fence crossing. Loose in some part but still a great flow

Kona is closed part way down from the top with a fence across it. Burn Victim is a way to get to lower Kona.

Today I was told by a fellow biker that part of the the trail has been bulldozed off for construction, I couldn't verify that but was also told that the it will be restored.

New development work taking over the hillside. Damn! They've bulldozed a significant portion of the upper part of the trail. You're better off taking Burn Victim which will connect you to the lower part of the Kona trail which is still accessible. Sucks!

Perfect trail for an introduction to mountain biking. This is where I typically bring friends to get them exposed. Climb isn't awful, the downhill bit is not so steep that you can't keep control. Some intermediate size features exist here to cut their teeth on.
