Trails very dry over the weekend. Hot weather has dried the soil and plenty of gravel around.

The dirt part of the trails were alright but The road sections weren’t the greatest with cars speeding and nearly getting hit by a motor bike doing wheelies and skidding around so if you are looking for just dirt trails it’s probably not for you

this loop is in three sections to the trail, starting on the north and heading anti clock wise.
sections 1 - Thomas road to Wellard road. its soft sandy 4x4 trails. heavily used by 4wd's and MX bikes. best avoided if possible. its not fun.
Section 2 - South half, Wellard road to Leda Blvd. best section of the trail. wide open tracks, but closed off to vehicles. through some nice forest and up and down some hills. this is the highlight of the trail.
Section 3 - Wellard road onto Bertram & Thomas road. this is mainy road riding, there is a short decent section of forest track parallel to Sicklemore Ave. Wellard & Bertram road you are in a cycle lane next to a busy road with just the white line divider. Section along Thomas road is on the separate cycle track away from the road, but not too exciting really. the is the Fire watch tower in Rodger Hamilton Reserve is worth a climb.
