la prima parte del sentiero, (che parte appena dopo il Teschio) in realtà è una strada boschiva che a metà percorso si restringe diventando un sentiero.
Percorrendo la strada boschiva, sui cigli della strada si possono ammirare alcune Sughere, una specie di quercia assai rara in questa zona ed invece molto diffusa se ci avviciniamo alla costa tirrenica.
il percorso non presenta particolari difficoltà a parte alcuni passaggi su roccia scivolosa.
