Lichen Loop can be ridden in either direction.

Riders looking for flow should start at the second junction (if climbing from Spring Creek) and ride the trails counter-clockwise. 600m into the trail, you'll be rewarded with a stunning lookout with views of Mt. Vanarsdoll & Lean-To Mountain. About 50m past the lookout, you will find the trailhead to Shangri-La. If you continue on Lichen, it's all juicy flow from here. Lots of small features to pop off & berms to rail. The trail takes you back to Spring Creek.

Riders looking for a more tech-experience with a few lung-busting climbs should take the first junction (if accessing from Spring Creek). As this trail is most commonly ridden counter-clockwise, riders climbing Lichen should yield to downhill traffic.

Re-aligned the trail to deal with a braid that was causing significant erosion. Should roll pretty fast through here now.

A little soft for walking, way too soft for riding. Still needs more time to thaw out.
