We rode the Canyon Rim Trail to the fire Rd 18 then down the Lime Rock Trail to finish on the Blackwater canyon Trail.. Friends of the Blackwater did a great job clearing most of this trail. There are some trees down around the last mile. for about 100 yards but you can get through. This trail is incredibly scenic. Tons of waterfalls and views of the canyon. There are a lot of rock gardens and some pretty sketchy portages over three of the creeks. This is a really fun ride with an expedition feel. Took us around four hours from top to bottom. We set shuttle at the end of the BCT near Hendrix WV and started at Olson Fire Tower.
