Named for the high concentration of golf balls found in this part of the ridge (and the golfing phenomenon of a ball skirting the edge of a hole without scoring within), Lip Out is a silly yet challenging drop, maneuver and climb back out technical exercise. Combined with its adjoining upper trails Par 1, Par 2 or Par 3, this trail is a way to reach the paved path from the top of the ridge. Or you can give it a go via Par 4, which starts from the paved path.
