The Loop 1 Bypass starts from the Erickson Rd parking lot and rides to the Hog Wild/Loop 1 intersection making it easier to connect rides from the Erickson Rd parking lot to trails at the Horton Bay parking lot (or vice versa) without having to complete Loop 1. The Bypass trail is reverse-directional which means it will flow counter to the daily convention allowing smaller, loops from the Erickson lot.
