This short trail serves as a link between Magic Estates Trail and Balsamroot Bluff Loop. If you turn left onto the Loop to head in a clockwise direction, the climb has a more gradual grade with a couple switchbacks in comparison to the straighter and steeper climb on Balsam Root Connection.

Off the west side of Magic Estates Trail, about 75m north of the Knox Mountain Drive hairpin corner.
