The Monarch Loop can be ridden in both directions, but is generally ridden clockwise starting with this trail heading up. This is a nice and easy climb through the trees. There is one little bit of rocky section near the top but it is barely gaining in elevation so fairly easy to just roll it. The berms through the trees are smooth and easy.

The trail ends at the Monarch Lift access roads where you climb just a bit before dropping to the Backcountry access gate and start of the downhill

Access Info

The area around the top is kind of a big dirt area, so start to head up towards the gravel road, and the Monarch trail starts just around a group of trees to the right.

Right after a rain storm, gave it an hour and it was good to go with only a few soft spots and puddles.
