Mukraker is a trail that roughly parallels the railroad tracks but follows the hillsides as they near the tracks or draw back from.
Mukraker runs great in both directions. It's a fun down hill connector if you start on the south end. It's a semi challenging technical climb from the north. You can connect this with other trails like Fern and Dream Lifter to minimize your time on the tracks and maximize the single track

This trail has rock gardens, grade reversals, bridges, and boardwalks on it to help navigate through drainage areas from the adjacent hillside. This trail was heavily rebuilt in 2020-2021 by the Japanese Gulch Mountain Bike crew to attempt to make it more use able and less muddy year round.

The trail is the return trail for several of the fun DH trails like Skid Row and Mandatory Suicide. Do not attempt to climb those trails

Access Info

Access the trail by climbing up from the dog park, or joining the trail system from the road East of the tracks.
