Really nice climb!! Not too technical and if you are a fit person, don’t mind the other comments, you’ll be fine. It is not brutal if you are use to ride some D+. Fun descend at the end with a few technical features! I really recommend the trio of you want a 30km+ ride: Nelson Est, Nelson Nord, Nelson sud

Operated... la monté était plus le fun que la descente (pi personnellement je deteste les montés donc ca en dit long)

What happened to the double black trail that went to the top of the hill when this first opened? It was fun...

The road climg is now gone! It has been replaced by a very nice singletrack climb in a beautifull forest. Awesone job!

I’m still trying to figure out if the climb on the road was worth the single track part. Long and boring. I probably wouldn’t do it again

A new singletrack climb will open in a few days/weeks to completely bypass the gravel climb

What an epic trail combined with the north and the south. The climb up the road was brutal but worth it, our group walked pretty much the entire road. Once at the top, the ride down was flowy with some small jumps and drops, perfect for intermediate and better. Just under 4 hours start to finish, could be done in under 3 and up to 5 hours depending on how much you enjoy the scenery and want to stop to check things out. 10/10 would go back just to ride these trails again.

The climb really isn’t that bad. It’s a long double track fire road, just sit in and work a little and you will definitely be rewarded with some fantastic single track

The only section of the Neilson trail I'd ride again. Awesome descent but as others have mentioned the climb to get to the single track is fairly brutal.

I totally feel you. I love climbing but that is way too steep and long. I wish they had a climb with broken back singletrack switchbacks thru the forest and made it more gradual. Other then the climb the trails are just amazing.

The first climb up the 'road' is totally brutal. Beware that you'll spend 40min walking or riding in granny getting up there. It's nasty and boring.
The trail itself is very good with two feature drops, one off a log ramp and another off a slab.

Since fall 2021, a new, easy, fun, scenic, acclaimed trail has replaced the infamous cote à Ti-Oui.
