This is a steep, rocky, loose descent off the South ridge of Atalaya. The first section is particularly challenging, after this there is a ridge section with great views followed by a wider portion of technical trail that is loose, rutted and has rock drops. This trail is recommended for expert riders.

This trail is fantastic for trail running. Heading down from atalaya peak, it is easy to miss as the main trail makes a heard right off the ridge. At that point it's brushy and rocky, but it turns into a nice trail with a great combination of steep technical downhill and open gentle slopes for faster running. Plus it's south and east facing so it's warmer in the off months. During the summer it might be good to do early since it's in the sun.

Not a great trail compared to the dale ball decent off the top...
