OGR (Old Government Road) trail was the original road connecting the Old Pali Road to Waimanalo. Lower section of UOGR is a rarely serviced dirt road; middle section starting at HECO Rd junction has considerable tree-falls, a rocky & rooty bike-and-hike before narrowing to singletrack to traverse its pass where it intersects the Maunawili Trail. Can be paired with Ridge Runner and/or HECO plus Maunawili trails. Treacherous when wet in middle section.

 Slightly overgrown in spots and many smaller branches, twigs all over. But a very rideable climb.
