This is a fun loop consisting of some tight, old school, fall-line single track as well as wide cruiser snowmobile trail.
Starting at the parking lot on the south side of Rt. 86, follow the old snowmobile trail which parallels the RR tracks. After about 100 yards the trail forks and this is where the loop begins. Recommended direction is to the right - follow this single track for another 100 yards and look for another split - turn left here (going straight is a dead end on private land). From here the trail will pass through an old cable gate before climbing to reach the height of land. The trail meanders along the summit and then descends steeply to another old cable gate before reaching the state land boundary line (look for yellow markers). The trail follows the state line down to the shore of Oseetah Lake where it turns left to merge back with the snowmobile trail. Follow the snowmobile back to the start, staying left at any intersections you pass. Some sections along the lake are flooded and really muddy in the spring or after heavy rain.
