Trail that follows a fence line to near the top of Pump House Mountain. A wire gate near the 90° turn at the top has a Forest Service sign asking to keep the gate closed. On a bike, it's a great way to connect to the top of the Packard East trail, as there's no hike-a-bike, and the downhill is pretty fast and fun. Trail used to be double track, but is mostly single track now. The Northwest leg gets more use, as it appears most motorcycles ride it from the bottom and turn around at the gate.
