The Quiver Trail is a hiking only trail that was built by the VVMTA Trail Conservation Crew and volunteers in 2026.

This bidirectional trail was modeled after the Berry Picker trail on Vail Mountain. The desired characteristics of the trail were to be somewhat steep, natural, and shaded.

The trail meanders through beautiful aspens and pines. The lower half of the trail is a bit steep and then it begins to mellow out towards the middle/top.

The trail begins to come out of the trees towards the top and provides amazing views of the Gore Range and Sawatch Range. Many folks hike it out and back or add in the Arrowhead Mountain trail as a loop option.

The Vail Rec District also used this trail as part of their Arrowhead half marathon route in 2025.

New trail, needs tread to compact but is in great shape. Steep and beautiful trail that stays in the trees up Arrowhead. Great job VVMTA!
