From Ruston's Diner the trail has a shorty, rocky descent into a relatively flat section. The first third of this trail in that direction is moderately difficult, but the remainder is easy. In the opposite direction the climb is a bit of a grind.
The east trailhead is behind Ruston's Diner towards the power lines. The western trailhead is no longer accessible by car, as the cul-de-sac has been fenced off.
This trail is unsanctioned.
