Track runs parallel to Wairakei Drive and is an excellent way to commute to Huka falls or to the Wairakei forest MTB park. The track is two way and is shared with walkers. Park map no 15.

      A must do ride going from the Huka Falls western by pass coming out adjacent to Wairakei Drive then follow the track back to the top of the hill at the lookout. If returning to Taupo don't take the turn that brings you back to Huka Falls Rd which is boring.
