Beginner-friendly singletrack with fun for all levels. The top section has multiple berms but nothing technical. All features in the top section have B-lines. The middle section is flat, flowy and fast with multiple berms. The trail enters some subtropical rainforest which can be very muddy after rain.

Looks like the person who added this rode up (70 ascent 9 descent). While you are allowed to do that (it's 2 way), it's really designed to be ridden down, which is what most people do. Nice long, reasonably flows trail.

Yep a good track to test your berm turns and your twitchy XC bike. Deffo recommend riding down hill... has some.up and down near end. Take.your time going up firetrail to start if youre unfit. Expect kiddies on trail on weekends

Best fast flowing downhill single trail. Get lift to top or ride up Quail trail from reserve.

This trail is an odyssey. You start at the top in rainforest - singletrack on the side of a hill with quite a few berms/switchbacks. You quickly descend into the lower forest where it flattens out and gets REALLY flowy. Then at the end it opens up to a fire trail and you get to push out all that angst at full speed! It's adequately designated as "Easier' - like it says on the noticeboard at the reserve, you need basic MTB skills to get the most out of it. You can ride it both ways but downhill is the safest. There's one or two "tight" berms/switchbacks near the top of the trail otherwise the berms are all fairly docile. It is very flowy without any silly drops, tight turns or other scary features to throw off beginners. That being said, Rocket Frog isn't overly groomed. There's numerous bits of roots and chunky stuff that require a bit of planning to get a comfortable line.

I'm absolutely in love with this track. As a beginner it's the only trail I've found so far that's challenging but do-able.

28/12/19 A large tree branch is across the track at halfway point.
