13 kilometers, 150 meters of elevation gain.

This route runs through the Roode Beek catchment area, the Schutterspark and the Schinveldse forests. This route is a combination of several longer technically challenging climbs, long descents and wonderful flow trails.

The route contains three tough switchback climbs, one over the Hendrik mine waste mountain and two in the Schutterspark. In this route you descend the Hendrik mine waste mountain twice: once with a lot of speed and flow, the other descent is more technical and your skills are challenged on a difficult trail with a number of very nice banked turns.

Furthermore, this route also contains long flow trails that have been specially constructed for mountain bikers. The middle part of the route is largely on wide gravel paths and gives you some time to recover and recharge for the grand finale: Bikepark Hendrik

At the starting location, on the grounds of Park het Plateau, a trail hub has been set up with technical and catering services. There is also a wash-down area that can be used free of charge.
