Rookery is a great trail. Not to missed (which is true of all the trails at Ringle, other than Oscar’s, which is only ok). And do not miss the Silk Otter option.

I believe that trail workers have heard the cry of riders like the poster above. Many sections that seem like they could get overgrown we’re not, and I suspect they were trimmed (I rode it the first week of August.) Only two short sections were a little overgrown and were over before you knew it—plus lots of pretty flowers in those parts, even though they wack you.

Ringle is an amazing place to ride mountain bikes. Rookery is only ok. It's washed out and overgrown in the field parts, the forest parts are pretty nice though. I'd recommend skipping this trail in the summer but in the spring it'd be almost as much fun as other trails which are a blast!

We hope you've been enjoying Trailforks!
