If McDougall Rim is not challenging enough for you, try this single track option on the climb up. This technical singletrack is full of punchy climbs with rooty-rocky sections. There are also a number of low logs to pop over. This is a great option for a technically sound ebike rider looking to challenge their skills. Or, this is a very challenging option for a rider with tree trunk legs on a regular bike. The trail could be ridden in either direction, but as McDougall Rim is usually ridden Clock-wise, this trail is primarily an uphill trail. The downhill direction is significantly easier.
This trail is unsanctioned.
Trail is listed as "Double Black" as it is a more challenging option for McDougall Rim. It is not dangerous, just much more challenging than the regular route.
