Watch for compression at bottom as many have ended going into the big tree ahead. As you move further down you will reach the 2nd roll in you can drop to flat but is rather unnecessary. After is a straight line with the options of straight lining the two berms using the jump and carrying on down to the river gap or to attempt to hook yourself into the berm. The later can be pulled off but due to wear it is now awkward to hook into the second berm. Now you're heading straight towards the river gap which should only be attempted if conditions are reasonable with full commitment. Jump should be checked before use as made of clay and area before is prone to losing grip and slides.
Trail should be checked before ridden due to trees or branches haven fallen and Gap Jump only attempted if conditions are suitable as area is usually waterlogged for most of year.
When entering the clearing go towards the left over the large mound into the roll in.

This is a natural MTB trail and is considerably more challenging than the official XC trails, even when dry.
