The Good the Bad and the Ugly starve segment. Amazing drops and berms with loads of flow. Drains well due to the gradient so can be ridden all year. Drops of over 40cm. Start at the concrete shelter at the top of the hill and follow the path down without turning off.

Access Info

Park at Gullet Quarry and cycle to the quarry. Follow the main path which has a stream running down it. This is the "cobble climb" on Strava. This brings you to a cross roads of wide paths. Turn left up the fire road. Straight ahead will take you to the obelisk on the Eastnor Estate which has impressive views. Follow the fire road until it flattens out after a house on the left. On the left after the house there is a turning up the hill. Follow this. This is the hardest point of the climb, the quarry should be on your left. As you bend to your right there will be a trail on your left and a large hump on your right (part of the defences for the iron age hill fort - looks similar to the British Camp). Do not take the trail on the left. Instead keep climbing straight up the hill. It becomes more open. Head for the summit. A few metres to your left there will be what looks like a bus shelter. This is where the trail starts. The trail heads into the bracken about 70 degrees (10 o'clock) when you stand with your back to the shelter. Follow this. Do not turn off on the trails out crosses over. There is a point before you get to any drops that the trail splits into two, going straight on or hard right, just after a hop over the remains of a tree stump. Take the hard right! Straight on is not as fun.

Had a blast down this the other day after finding it on TF. Not great, it’s essentially a footpath, there’s no flow at all between sections and you almost have to stop at some 90° bends as there’s no berms to throw you round. Wouldn’t advise doing it when wet, very rooty.
