Lousy biking except for the northern segment connecting spruce meadows trailhead to spruce mountain. That is surprisingly good surface, and almost flowy at times. Otherwise the rest of this trail is narrow, rutted, and sandy. In other words, horse trail.

Light and easy trail except when the sand slows ya down. Still a good way to get the heart rate up and some photos on a beautiful Colorado spring day in mid June. Zero hikers. Rode clockwise.
