Stormoen takes it's name from an old ski run on the hill, which translates to "the storm" in Norwegian. This trail is an advanced, enduro-style trail with many mandatory rock rolls, drops, and jumps intermixed with narrower, hand built sections of more natural tread to give you that backcountry, race-line feel. A few sharp climbs mean you have to put in a little work to keep the momentum moving, but you are handily rewarded in doing so Stormoen ends at the bottom of our advanced trail hub with Rendal, where you can either climb up to the top of the hill on Tapley, or traverse back to the main trail hub at Mount Telemark Village.
