I hike with my dog, don't MTB anymore. I like this trial as it's a more interesting way up and down than the yellow trail. I refer to it as "flat rock shortcut" as it turns off the yellow trail at a big flat rock and heads straight to the summit.

Recently, someone cut another trail off it. Coming from the summit down, there's a left that will take you to what's marked as "The Face." Someone did a nice job clearly and raking that trail without creating any extra damage. I suspect they wanted to huck the rocks on the face while on the way down. I've walked it a few times. It's a tad dodging walking when you get to the rocks and it's obviously the MTBers are jumping and clearing them while a walker need to find a way around five or ten feet of rock.

Not sure why this trail is considered “not adaptive friendly”. I’ve seen people in their 70s able to hike up/down this trail. Every mountain biker I know says this is their favorite trail at Noon Hill. It’s a shame the Trustees won’t allow it because the mountain bike community is missing out on this “unauthorized” trail.

We hope you've been enjoying Trailforks!
