Supplejack is a classic Nelson track. Built in a beautiful DoC managed area of native bush it's challenging but not too steep, rides well all year round. Mostly rock base it has some tight corners but is mostly flowing. Joins up with teh Sharlands trails that lead back out onto the Maitai Valley Road.
You need a Hancock Forest Permit to ride this trail. You can get a 2 week permit from bike shops in Nelson for $10 or you get an annual one included in your NMTBC membership (www.nelsonmtb.club). Without a permit you are trespassing and liable for prosecution - plus it's a bad look for mountain bike access.
