The Badlands trail is a nice undulating trail that is a good place to take riders who want to work on their bike handling skills. The trail can be a bit hard to follow in a few places and is also sort of remote but there is cell service on the entire ride. This is AZ Trust land so a permit is required. Also, depending on the time of year, there can be cattle on the trail.

This trail is unsanctioned, use at your own risk!

Drove my truck directly out to the loop to ride it at least both ways and any side trails that looked like trails. I'd give it beginner "blue" intermediate rating on a lot the rock features and what a local rider called "Pothead hill" because of the 4:20 graffitti. Overall, it's fun to loop a few times if you drive via Chochise Springs "road", and would really be nice to have a few more tech features (small rollers/drops, slab climbs...nothing crazy) to spice up the nice flow!
