The Bat Cave Details
Off camber and slippery is the only way to describe this trail.
Easiest way to find it is by riding up the fire road from the Hermitage take your first right onto a walking path that runs parallel to the A9. You meet the end of the DH trail at a fire road and continue up the walkers path to the left and rejoin the uplift road for the DH Trail. Continue past the point where the DH trail crosses the fire road taking care not to get run over. The fire road swings round to the left and continues straight up and before you meet the fork in the fire road keep an eye out on the right for the Bat Cave trail. After the Bat Cave you can either continue down The Blue Route (not blue graded, fairly extreme) or turn Right which takes you back to the top of the final section of DH trail.
