This is a steep road but graded pretty well up to the towers. After that the road gets progressively worse. The road is OK to Eagle Crest turn-off, then it slowly gets to be more and more like an ATV track with big softball size rocks that make riding just not fun. It also starts to undulate very steeply, up and down. If it was one big hike-a-bike, I would consider it an adventure ride, but this is just misery.
People often ask if you can take this road to Mueller, and the fun will run out long before you get there.

I won't tell you that is an enjoyable climb. But it does get you on top of lost lad.

It looks like a scraper recently came through and moved all the baby heads off to the side. It’s hard packed and you can pedal the whole way up for now…
