My wife loved this trail. Great place for beginners. Easy but all the turns and varied terrain helps build confidence.

Very much a green trail. Use it as a mellow cruise around through the campgrounds.

I applaud the effort and always support the addition of new trails, BUT, the trail is contrived. It feels like they tried to fit two miles of trail into a half mile of space. Dirt sidewalk with no opportunities for tech or speed.

That's what we had to work with and wanted to accomplish.

You set out to build the trail with this end result in mind? Thanks for the reminder of what is wrong with most trail organizations. I'm sure the words "sustainable," "beginner friendly," and grow the sport" were muttered frequently in the planning room. The reality is the sport has grown to an unsustainable level and no trails are being built to keep long time mountain bikers interested.

Ok, my comment to Nalaw1 was unnecessarily harsh, and I can't find a way to edit or remove it. I was frustrated after another ride where I spent too much time letting large groups of high school MTB'ers pass. The comment about needing way more trails stands!

Super playful and flowy. I don't think it feels contrived at all. IMO, best to ride from road to yurt. Nice addition to NF park and definitely something different. I love it.

I liked it. Very nice trail. Fun with lots of hills. This trail connects to Mule Ear and Mule Shoe trails above. Easy to climb and descend. It was fun to ride from the yurt, where the parking lot is- easy climb; I prefer trails to roads- to me they're more fun.

You can check out my YouTube "Arthur's Trails" playlist for a video of this trail (soon to upload) and other trails.

I loved this trail. Highly recommend! It is perfect for a beginner who wants to perfect their turns with good speed, smooth trial with a few rocks that your bike will easily glide over. Just the right amount of climb to get those legs nice and warm.

The trail forces you to keep your speed down and due to the odd placement of turns in relation to what would be jumps, makes it hard to get off the ground a lot.
This and the relative smooth ride make it a great place to ride with your young kids. I'm excited to get my kids up there.
