Upper Decker Details
Upper Decker runs along the ridgeline above Dump Gulch. It's an old-school fall-line trail and is very steep towards the end. There are several rugged rock outcrops along the trail up higher.
This is an unofficial trail that is not part of the inventoried South Hills network. Access and conditions are subject to change without notice.
Take a right off of the Mount Helena Ridge Trail on to South Dump Gulch. You climb to a small knob, and from there it's all downhill. Don't follow South Dump to the left into Dump Gulch, and instead go straight following the ridge all the way down to Grizzly Gulch.
This trail is Unsanctioned, Ride at your own Risk!
West Main Street is closed to bikes until fall due to construction. Riders descending Upper Decker will need to climb back out of Grizzly Gulch.
