Upper Elevator is a steep, old-school, often fall-line trail. It has seen significant work over the past few years to help armor some of the steepest sections. After the first minute, turn right onto Jump Line and climb it for ~50m, then continue down Upper Elevator on your left.
This trail is unsanctioned.

I haven't ridden this in a while but had a blast last time I was down. It was super hard but well constructed. Is that area rideable right now? I'd like to ride it again soon!

Sick trail with recent trail work. Not eroded in the least.

This is one of my favourites on Burke! So fun and challenging! Thanks for all the hard work put into the trail!

Anyone else feel like this is harder then deliverance?
[Reply]

We debate that one all the time. Definitely old school, steep and technical. As the builders on this trail we would like to see it rated the same as Deliverance. We see many riders on this expecting another Six or BBT because of the rating being the same as those.

See the battle we had with changing the rating for deliverance and you will have the answer

Great trail! So fun, steep technical and natural. Loved it. The negative feedback from @Diysandwhich is likely due to being a poorly skilled and soft rider.

More work put in over past while. Old school steep and challenging as ever but subtle adjustments helping it flow better.

Was there yesterday. Amazing new builds and features. Thank you to the builders and maintainers!!! Harder than upper oil can in Fromme!

What kind of crazy comment is this? Please provide photographic evidence to back up this report.

If there are specific spots you are concerned about with this trail please PM and let us know what you feel needs attention. This is an old school trail which is very different from the style of Deliverance. Was doing some clean up on Upper Elevator the other day and am unsure where you are getting the "full of ruts and erosion" from.
[Reply]

I'll try to get some photos of the erosion in the next week or two. If things are better than I remember then i'll change my rating.

builders inspected and attended trail. No significant issues at this time. Not concerned about how you rate the trail. If you read my original response to you I am asking if something is noted on a trail to be specific as it is of far more help to us as maintainers/builders. ie: "tree fallen at ......." . If you want to help do the work volunteers are always welcome to join us as well. Just contact us and we can make arrangements. Thanks

Trail is full of ruts and erosion since it's built on the fall line. I'd recommend taking deliverance instead, which is right next to upper elevator but is better maintained.
