The eastern part of this trail makes a nice loop with Zane Gray when ridden in a CCW direction. Lots of rutted section and best with a dual suspension bike.

Highly overgrown. Needs serious maintenance. Poison oak and high weeds made for difficult conditions. Deeply rutted through much of the trail.

Dry and dusty but I didn't see a single other person, which is sometimes nice. Did however see a fair amount of horse crap. If you don't smell the nearby waste disposal, you'll definitely smell the horse poo. Oh well, that's what you get with multi-use trails though I still don't understand why dog waste gets people so fired up but horses can leave behind piles larger than small dogs right in the middle of the trail...

I used this trail to climb to the Enchanted Loop trail. That trail was also dry and dusty but had some fun root drops and a nice flow. Rode it twice and saw 4 deer bucks over the course of the laps.

This part of Wilder Ridge Loop is totally overgrown and needs maintenance. Fairly dry but the grass and weeds are over 6 feet high in some places. Also has very hard ruts. Avoid until brush is cut down!
