Pendleton On Wheels (POW) is a friendly group of cycling enthusiasts in Pendleton, Oregon, the northeast part of the state. We primarily ride on the road, though some members are avid mountain bikers. Some members ride fast and hard, some ride at a moderate pace, and some ride slower and don’t go as far. The scenery is beautiful around here – we ride by green fields of wheat in the spring, golden wheat early summer, and trees with colorful leaves in autumn.
There are plenty of rolling hills to enjoy. You can ride lots of miles on the backcountry roads without a lot of traffic most of the time. Rides are every Saturday from the beginning of April to the beginning of October.
