The Bay to Bay Trail Association is a not for profit, volunteer organization that holds the LOA (Letter of Authority) to maintain and operate a recreational trail on the crown land right of way between Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. This 10 km trail "the Lunenburg Spur Line" plus the 1 km segment from Sawpit Road to Battery Point Road sits on the abandoned rail line.
